Are you ready to make yourself some shiny aluminum necklaces? (Hmm.. now that I'm thinking of it, they kind of look like cloisonne beads, don't you think?) Let's create!
Materials Needed
- Kwik stix tempera paint
- Sharpie markers
- Aluminum Foil
- Scissors
- Skewer
- Pencil
- Beads
- String
First, rip out a piece of aluminum foil. Then, use your Sharpie markers and Kwik stix tempera paint to decorate them. (We received the tempera paint as a gift and love them. They dry in 90 seconds and the colors are super vibrant. Plus, they glide on like oil pastels... super smooth!)
If you want super colorful beads add a whole bunch of color to your aluminum foil!
Then, cut your aluminum foil into strips.
It's time to make beads! Crumple them into beads. Then, stick a skewer through them to create a hole. Then, push a pencil through to make the holes bigger.
And then string them. You can also add other beads to your necklace too!
