Let's Make Some Paper Bunny Puppets!
Materials Needed:
- Colored Paper
- Scissors
- Glue Stick
- Markers (I used Sharpies because I like using them, but normal markers or crayons would work great too!)
How to Make Bunny Puppets:
Step 1: Take your sheet of paper and fold it in half lengthwise. (My son's class calls this the "Hotdog fold.")Step 2: Open up your fold, then fold both sides of the paper to meet in the crease made in step 1.
Step 3: Fold your paper in half lengthwise again. (It will now be half the width.)
Step 4: Now fold your paper in half the other way.
Step 5: Open it up to reveal a crease in the middle.
Step 6: Again, fold both sides to the middle crease.
Step 7: Now fold your paper in half along the middle crease. It should look like this:
You now have a puppet that you can stick your fingers into.
Now let's decorate!
Draw on the face and the tongue. Also, cut out two ears and some buckteeth.
Glue on your buckteeth.
Glue on your ears.
Then fold up the ears and fold down your buckteeth.
And that's it!
