On Wednesday we're having a small holiday get-together with our toddler library group. I wanted to put Chuck in a cute holiday outfit, but I didn't get a chance to pick up anything yet. But not to worry! I had all the items needed to make these two cute reindeer antlers. I love how they came out. They're super festive, Chuck will actually wear them, (yes!) and added bonus- they were both made in one night.... my kind of craft!
DIY Reindeer Antler Headbands

Felt and Sequin Antler Headband:
Materials:
- Template (See below)
- Scissors (Normal and Fabric)
- Pen
- Felt
- Sequins
- Tacky glue
- Hot glue
- 2 Pipe Cleaners (the same color as your headband, preferably)
- Headband
Directions:
1. Print out the template. Cut out the felt template piece.
2. Trace out four antlers onto the felt. Cut out the antlers. Cut your two pipe cleaners in half.
3. Hot glue two pipe cleaner halves onto one antler piece. Then, hot glue two pipe cleaner halves onto another antler piece.
4. Hot glue your two remaining felt pieces on top of your first two antler pieces.
5. Curl your pipe cleaner ends around your headband. Use tacky glue to attach some sparkly sequins.
Tada! You've got yourself a pair of festive felt antlers.
Pipe Cleaner Reindeer Headband:
Materials:
- Reindeer Headband Template
- Scissors
- 4 sparkly pipe cleaners
- Headband
Directions:
1. Print out your template.
2. Take your pipe cleaner and bend it into an antler shape. Use your template to guide you. Be sure to leave some of your pipe cleaner unbent in the beginning so that you'll be able to attach your antler on later. Also, one pipe cleaner won't be long enough, so add another pipe cleaner on by twisting it onto the first.
3. Repeat step 2 to make the second antler.
4. Twist your pipe cleaner antlers onto your headband. Cut off any excess pipe cleaner bits.
Tada! You're done! Sparkly and sweet!
