Make a Valentine's Day "Arrow through the Head" Headband

Valentine's Day "Arrow through the Head" Headband

Looking for a cute Valentine's Day accessory that is affordable, easy-to-make, kid friendly, and boy friendly?  Well, you could always try making this "Arrow through the head" headband...

Materials:

• Headband
• Pipe Cleaners
• Felt
• Fabric Scissors
• Pen/ Sharpie Marker
• Paper
• Hot Glue Gun

Directions:

1.  Trace your headband on a piece of paper.

2.  Doodle how you'd like your arrow to look.  

3.  Cut out pieces of pipe cleaner and two identical heart shapes to make your arrow.

5.  Twist your pipe cleaner pieces together to make the back portion of the arrow.  Then, hot glue a piece of pipe cleaner between your two heart pieces to make the front portion.   Wrap that around your headband too.

When you're done, your headband will look like this:  

(I know it looks strange, but the headband will bend when it's on your head.  Then, the front and back pieces will match up.)

Now you can have fun "shooting" people with love....
