Cardboard and Safety Pin Charm Necklace

Sometimes the best crafts are the easiest ones.  Today I wanted to share this really easy cardboard and safety pin necklace.  My younger son is currently teething, so I just needed something quick and fun for my eldest and I to make together.  This colorful and easy jewelry craft fit the bill!

I cut out pendants from cereal box cardboard.  We hole punched them and then used Sharpies and sequins to decorate them.

(We used a paintbrush to help glue our sequins in place.)

While we waited for the pendants to dry, I strung on some letter beads onto safety pins.  Once everything dried, we made our necklaces.  I liked using an assortment of beads....

And my son wanted his to have a cleaner look.
