Our preschool celebrated with a super hero themed graduation party. All the moms and dads came together to plan a really fun day for the kids. I was so impressed by everyone's creativity. I just had to share the super hero-themed activities and crafts here because I know a ton of you probably have super hero loving kids at home too.
So put on your super hero capes and get ready for some...

Super Hero Passport
When the kids arrived, we sat them down and showed them our super hero passport. (Feel free to download the super hero passport that I made for the kids here! Just print the pages out in order, front and back to see it in book format.)
The passport showed a list of all the activities that the kids could do during the day. It also included fun extras like a scavenger hunt list, super hero ID page, and fill-in-the-blank comic page.
The kids didn't have to do the activities in any particular order. They were all set up for the kids to enjoy whenever they wished.
Here's a list of the super-hero themed activities and crafts that we did with the kids-
1. Lost Treasure Hunt
We told the kids that someone lost their treasure. They then found a ton of plastic gems that were hidden in the sandbox.
2. Frozen Animal Rescue
3. Space Travel
4. Spider Rescue
We told the kids that a giant spider had kidnapped a bunch of people. Yikes! So our super kids had to climb through a yarn-wrapped play structure and "rescue" clothespin people. This was definitely one of the kids' favorites!
5. Super Hero Costumes and Cuffs
All super heroes need super costumes. Our kids used fabric paint and fabric markers to decorate t-shirt capes. They also turned old toilet paper rolls into super hero cuffs.
6. Super Hero Necklaces
This was definitely another favorite activity! The kids used shrinky dink paper, jewelry cord, sharpie markers, and, jump rings to create necklaces. An adult traced some pre-printed designs onto a piece of shrinky dink paper. After the kids colored them in an adult cut out the designs and hole punched them. After the pendants baked the kids had such cute, personalized necklaces to wear for the rest of the day.
7. Super Hero Training Course
Of course, we had to have an obstacle training course. Super heroes need to practice their skills!
8. Super Hero Pinata!
I love pinatas. One of the moms bought an awesome super hero pinata for the party.
9. Super Hero Food
10. Super Hero Books
- Ladybug Girl
- Do Super Heroes Have Teddy Bears?
- The Day I Lost My Super Powers
- Superworm
- Marvel Super Hero Storybook Collection
- Any of the Lego Super hero books
- 5 Minute Marvel Stories
- Buzz Boy and Fly Guy
- The Amazing Adventures of Bumblebee Boy
- Superhero ABC
- Ten Rules of Being a Superhero

11. Super Hero Scavenger Hunt
We told the kids that a teacher had lost her animals and need the super kids' help. Kids took their Super Hero Passport and marked down all the lost animals they found taped around the classroom.
And that's it. Phew. This was a long post. Thanks for being super patient and sticking through it. Hopefully you found some inspiration in this list to help you out with your own super hero party!
