It's officially the start of the Christmas season around here. We've pulled out our Nativity set and set up our Christmas tree. And we've started our Advent season with this easy Christmas craft.
Let's Make a Pop Up Paper Plate Nativity!
Simply grab a paper plate. Fold it in half and cut out the center bit like below:
When you open up your paper plate, you'll get a simple design that kids can use permanent markers to draw in details like the star, manger, baby Jesus, Mary and Joseph.
Then, grab your watercolors and paint away!
Once your paint dries, fold up the characters and the sky portion. Make sure that the sky is folded slightly behind the characters to make the paper plate stand up.
And that's it! I hope you enjoy making this quick and easy Christmas craft with your children too.
