Today's craft was inspired by a kit that I found online here. It was such a cute craft and I figured we could make our very own using craft materials that we already own!
To make these, grab a sheet of cardboard and print out this hedgehog craft template. Trace it onto the cardboard and cut it out.
Then, add the "spikes." (Don't forget to cut slits out on the bottom too!)
Grab a permanent marker and add designs.
Then, cut out long strands of colorful yarn or embroidery thread and start wrapping.
The thinner embroidery thread was easier to wrap, but my son preferred the yarn. He really enjoyed wrapping! Who knew?
