How To Make Bottle Cap Art

We've been collecting bottle caps for what seems like FOREVER. Why?  Well, to make some DIY Bottle Cap Art!  (We love making recycled crafts.)  This summer we finally finished the collection (woot woot!) and we made two pieces of cool bottle cap art (one for my son's room and one for downstairs.)  Here's how we made it!

Materials Needed to Make Your Own Recycled Bottle Cap Art

• Shadow Box (We bought ours from Michaels with a coupon, but Amazon also carries them too)
• Hot Glue Gun
• Bottle Caps (Get friends to save theirs!)

Let's Make some Bottle Cap Art

1.  Sort through your bottle caps to find your favorites! (We tried not to have any repeating designs.)

2.  Open up your shadow box.

3.  Place your bottle caps on top of your shadow box back in an eye-pleasing design.

4.  Hot glue the bottlecaps on. (This was the toughest part.  The rims are so thin, so be patient and be ready to drop a couple.)

5.  Place the cover back on! You're all set!
