Before we begin, here's how the cups work:
To do this craft, you'll need:
- Plain White Coffee Cups (2 per face)
- Scissors
- Craft Knife (For the adult or older children)
- Drawing tools:
- Markers (I used Permanent ones because they don't smear, but you don't have to)
- Crayons
Let's Make the Changing Emotions Pumpkin Cup:
1. Use a craft knife and a pair of scissors to cut out a hole. Draw a pumpkin shape around it and color it in.
2. Place a 2nd cup inside the 1st cup. Trace the opening. Then, turn the inner cup and trace the opening again (to create another face.) Keep turning and tracing the circle to see how many faces you'll need.
3. Pull out your inner cup. Draw and color in pumpkin faces. Then, color the portions between the faces orange too. (This way you'll always see orange as you turn.)
4. Place your inner cup back inside your outer cup and turn to change your jack-o-lantern's faces!
Now, let's make changing ghost and witch cups!
1. Cut out a circle. Then, draw a ghost shape around the cutout circle.
2. Place your inner cup inside your ghost cup. Draw a ghost face. Then, turn the cup and draw another face. Keep turning and drawing faces.
3. (Your inner cup will eventually look like this!)
Do they same process for the witch cup!
