Artsy "Thanks" Banner for Thanksgiving
1. First, I cut out the letters T, H, A, N, K, and S.
2. Then, I gave each boy two letters and asked them to draw something they were thankful for on each letter.
We used crayons and Sharpies first...
And then we painted with watercolors.
(It's neat to see how we all took different creative routes...)
3. Once everything dried, I taped the letters to some yarn.
Voila! Instant banner and Thanksgiving decor!
I really enjoyed this easy art project. The activity gave us a blank space to unleash our creativity and an opportunity to share with each other.
Happy Thanksgiving, friends!
I'm thankful for all your support and hope that you have a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with friendship, family, and food!
