Invitation to Create: Watercolor Rats

Hi everyone! Just stopping in to share another super easy kids Chinese New Year Art and Craft Activity! Last week we made these adorable Rat Paper Cuttings. Today we're going to celebrate the Lunar New Year with these easy Watercolor rats!

Inviting Kids to Create: Watercolor Rats

This would be a great art activity to set up after school for kids of all ages.

First, paint circles onto a sheet of watercolor paper.

Once the paint dries, doodle rats onto your circles using Sharpie Markers.
(I looked online for inspiration!)

Finish off your artwork by practicing to write "rat" or "Happy New Year" in Chinese.

And you're all set!
