Free Printable Homemade Friendship Bracelet Valentines
Ok, so this craft came about because I just love embroidery floss crafts.
I'm not into actual embroidery, per say. But I do enjoy using this colorful thread to make DIY hair wraps for kids. (And I whenever I see my DIY bunny floss holders I just feel super happy.)
It's the little things, right?
Let's Make these Friendship Bracelet Valentines!
Materials needed:
- Embroidery floss
- Ruler
- my Valentine's Day hand printable
- Scissors
- Clipboard
First, print out the hands and cut them out.
(Side note: There are two gorgeous and free printable Valentine's day hands here and here. These two ladies are much better at graphics than I am, so definitely check those out! We just made these because my son wanted something a bit simpler in design.)
Once you print and cut out your hands, start making your bracelets!
Cut out 6 strands of 15" of embroidery floss.
Tie the floss together and use a clipboard to hold them in place.
Separate the strands into 3 groups (each with 2 strands.)
Braid your strands!
Once you're finished braiding your bracelet, tie it into a knot... and you're done.
Hole punch each side of your hand and then slip your bracelet through.
If you're worried about the bracelet slipping through, you can always just add a bit of tape to the other side.
And that's it!!!
Happy Valentine's day crafting, friends!
