We're really trying to keep our spirits uplifted here and one of the ways that we do that (and remain sane during these difficult times) is to go outside. I saw this really neat IG post showing a family decorating their garage door with magnetic toys and it was like a lightning bolt hit me right in the head and heart.
Bright colors? Removable decorations? Process art? Outdoor time? Yes. Yes. Yes. And YES! So I'm sharing this really easy activity with you today.

We just took our PlayMags, Magnetic Letters, and Magformers outside and then proceeded to use them to decorate the garage.
This was an art activity that both my 3rd grader AND my preschooler could do together. (And if I'm being honest, I found the whole process very therapeutic and fun too. I'm a sucker for bright and beautiful colors.)
Aren't the results so colorful and happy?
I wish we could have left the toys up, but our condo has pretty strict rules about outdoor decorations. Luckily, it was super easy to just take everything down.
I'm feeling so inspired, that I'm thinking of using the magnets to hang up encouraging signs for any people walking by later on this weekend. :) What do you think?
