Spring is here and since I've been obsessed with gardening lately, here's a super easy spring craft that you can make with the kiddos.... for FREE. Let's make some cardboard roll seedling pots!
How to Make Toilet Paper Roll Seedling Pots
This is such a great craft to make because it's affordable, biodegradable, uses recycled materials, AND gets the kids excited for spring.
Materials needed:
- Cardboard Rolls
- Scissors
- Plastic containers (from food packaging)
- Dirt
- Seeds
Let's Make some Toilet Roll Seedling Containers
2. Unsquish it and then squish it down again to make your tube more rectangular.
3. Cut slits at each fold.
4. Fold down your cardboard roll tabs.
Tada! You're all done!
If you make a bunch of them, you can store them upright in a plastic container. (To improve drainage, you can punch holes in the plastic container if you want.) Fill the tubes with seedling mix and then get started growing plants for spring!
Happy gardening!
