Today, I'm sharing a really fun Christmas craft. This climbing paper Santa toy is the perfect DIY STEM building craft to keep hands and minds busy. Preschool, elementary, and even middle school-aged children will enjoy designing their own Santa and then watching him climb up the chimney. Looking for a really neat winter STEAM activity to make with the kids? A few months ago, my eldest son came back with a really cool paper skimmer that he made at school. They followed this paper skimmer tutorial on YouTube. The directions were great for older kids, but my youngest wasn't able to make one easily. So I came up with an easy printable that we could print out, color, fold, and race. :) Both boys loved using it so much that I'm sharing it here! With it being so close to Christmas, we called them our paper skimmer sleighs.

I've been doing a lot of DIY hair wraps. With Halloween coming up, a lot of little girls seem to want their hair wrapped up in Halloween colors. Recently, I've been toying around with the idea of making removable hair wraps. Handprint Christmas Peace Dove Art

It's time to start making Christmas crafts! Yesterday we put up the tree and it was so, so sweet to see my preschooler oohing and ahhing over the lights.  Today I tried to keep the Christmas-y momentum going with this super easy paper plate dove craft.  Inspired by Imagination Tree's sweet dove handprint keepsake, we made our own version using paper plates instead of salt dough.  (Anna's craft is really, really lovely, so definitely check out the post for another fun idea.)
